Window World Partners
At Window World®, we believe our mission extends beyond providing exceptional exterior solutions. Our products alone aren’t what make us unique; much of Window World’s story has been written in our efforts to bring positive change to our communities through our affiliation with our partners.
Window World Cares
Founded in 2008, the Window World Cares® foundation is dedicated to fundraising and community outreach. We are proud of the impact Window World Cares has made in the few years since its conception: we’ve raised over $8 million dollars and spread the word about deserving causes. In 2017, we were given the Organizational Support Award by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. It’s our privilege to be able to help others in need with every product we sell.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
In 2008, Window World Cares became a corporate partner of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and cures childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Treatments developed at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to increase the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade. St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Veterans Airlift Command
Window World proudly supports the Veterans Airlift Command in providing air transportation to wounded warriors and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes. The Veterans Airlift Command offers soldiers returning from combat, often with devastating injuries and unable to traverse commercial airports, the opportunity to fly worry-free to visit their families and receive treatment. Window World has flown over 100 missions and has surpassed over $1 million dollars in flights and in-kind donations since we began our partnership with the VAC. With a number of veterans in the Window World family, we know how meaningful a simple “thank you” can be. Participating in this special program is our way of conveying our immense gratitude for America’s veterans.
The No. 100 Stinger is a tribute to the original winning car of the Indianapolis 500, created to commemorate its 100th anniversary. A salute to starters of long ago, The Stinger features a yellow and black color scheme taken directly from the original Indy 500 winner, the Marmon Wasp. The car also displays a graphics package featuring the name of every Indianapolis 500 starter. Nearly 250 Indianapolis 500 veterans have autographed the car. In 2016, The Stinger was auctioned as part of a gala event benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising $1,034,000 to support the hospital’s lifesaving work. The winner of The Stinger auction, The Century Club, donated The Stinger to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame, endowing racing fans with the opportunity to view the rolling piece of memorabilia for generations to come.
