Our Story
Founded in 1995, Window World headquarters is located in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The vision was to offer homeowners high-quality, affordable windows and doors, along with a commitment to exceptional customer service. Throughout its journey, Window World has consistently embraced innovation and expansion, becoming the largest window replacement company in the United States. Todd and Tammy Whitworth, two passionate entrepreneurs, embarked on this journey with the establishment of two Window World stores.
In 2008, the company's philanthropic spirit came to the forefront with the establishment of Window World Cares, solidifying Window World's dedication to giving back to communities and supporting children facing challenging circumstances. This heartfelt initiative partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has led to 16 million dollars in donations and the recent opening of the Window World Dining Room on the St. Jude campus.
Tammy Whitworth assumed the role of CEO in 2010, determined to carry on the mission of providing top-quality products and services with a focus on family values, honest pricing, and integrity. A strong dedication to excellence led to establishing a Board of Directors and an Advisory Council, promoting collaboration, and sharing best practices throughout the organization.
Window World continued to strengthen its brand and position as an industry leader with expanded marketing investments, new technologies, and an ever-growing national footprint. The consumer product offering also expanded to include windows, patio doors, entry doors, siding, roofing, gutters, and more, all while delivering the guaranteed low prices consumers deserve.
In 2020, Window World proudly launched the Window World Military Initiative, a cause designed to honor and support veterans and families who have served in the armed forces. Through partnerships with organizations like the Veterans Airlift Command, the company strives to make a positive difference in the lives of those who have selflessly served the country.
