On June 9, the unthinkable happened as we watched our neighbor's home being destroyed by fire, and prayed that ours would not be next. The extreme heat damaged the entire side of our house, including cracking glass and melting the vinyl off 9 windows installed by Window World. Our first call was, of course, to the insurance company. Our second call was to Window World.
Within a very short amount of time (the firefighters were still on scene), someone was on site to assess the damage and stated the process to replace our windows. We were extremely pleased with everything, especially how quickly and efficiently everyone at Window World worked to ensure that our windows were the very first project completed! We want everyone at Window World to know that we really appreciate everything that was accomplished for us. Thank you!

I purchased 7 windows and 2 patio doors from Window World in February 2008 and installed in March of 2008 for my Condo. I am very happy with the purchase. The old windows were what the builder put in. The old windows were so bad that air would come through the framing and I would also have frost on the inside of both patio slider doors in the winter months. The opening for the windows was not even originally cut out right. The new windows were put in very well and straight and are much of an improvement over the old. Arthur was even pleased with how the windows and patio doors looked.
But now with the new windows and patio slider doors, the outside elements stay out, as well as the outside noise. My electric bill has been reduced by more than $80.00 since having them installed. I am pleased with the work that was done from the sales rep, Arthur Simons, to James, who came to measure, and the installers. When the rain and wind storm came through, water was coming in from the framing of the entry door. I was again put in touch with Arthur Simons. He came out with all the information on Entry Doors and the Knobs and Dead Bolt locks. I made my selection and am now waiting for the opening to be measured and the door ordered to be installed. When I talk to people in regards to Windows and Doors, I tell them Window World is the place to go. The price is right and the quality is very good.
These purchases will add great value to my home. Keep up the good work. I will for sure call again in the future.
I am taking a few minutes to let you know I appreciate the service your installation team provided. As a designer engineer and having worked on many job sites and with several contractors, I personally thought your site team worked together extremely well. I think they referred to themselves as the "Michigan Team". The real purpose of this note is to say thanks to the entire Window World Team for the manner in which they worked and the professional quality that they provided. They were very careful of the property, and their clean-up was extremely well done. They were also very helpful. Because of my background as an engineer, I was watching them and asked a few questions concerning their techniques and methods. They were very patient in talking to me and explaining what and how they were doing things. I hope they understood I was only trying to lean from them and not look critically.
In any case, they tolerated this old engineer nicely, and I thank them for that. I was amazed at their teamwork. They could teach a lot of other contractors a lot about process and working as a team. At the end of the day, they seemed more like friends than contractors. Bottom line is… I'm very happy with your service. I am extremely pleased with the professional installation. As a professional I will say "Job Well Done". As a homeowner, I'll say "Thanks for the service, and a wonderful experience!

I had to write to thank you for the amazing service I had from you and your Window World Company. The excellence in service started right away with your first sales call. You came with books, pictures, and ideas and really helped me decide the best possible outcome for my new kitchen window configuration. Your confidence and expertise was not evident in the other two sales reps I had come in to give me estimates. You were supportive of my plan to not do all the windows right away and didn't push. Thank you and yes I will be getting the rest of them done soon. The call I received from your office further indicated that excellence in service in your organization is something everyone on every level strives for. The woman who called said she had my windows and she knew it was last minute but do I want them installed tomorrow. I said, "Yippee!!" and she was thrilled. She thanked me for letting them install at the last minute and said "normally we don't do this." She was wonderful. The crew arrived on time and on mission. The team lead by Mike was moving fast, working well together and totally impressive. They treated each other with respect and if anyone even walked slowly I did not see it! Some of the other companies said it would take three days to install. Your team took 2 hours. This in no way should be interpreted as taking shortcuts. I watched them work and for the life of me I have no idea how it could ever take three days. They picked up all the debris in the yard, damaged no shrubs and Gary, you coming by to check on things made me feel like my small sale was very important to you.
As I was filling out my paper work, after Mike had taken the time to show me every new feature about my windows, someone came running in asking me for a towel. We grabbed a towel and headed outside to find a young man on the ground unconscious, bleeding from his head. Our victim, Cliff, had ridden his bike into the Window World trailer head on with no helmet. Roger, one of the Window World installers, was holding Cliff's head wound together with his hand to stop the bleeding. He was on the phone with 911 and emergency help was on the way probably about 10 seconds after the accident. He directed the rest of us in getting ice to make the host asphalt more bearable for Cliff, standing in the way of the sun to make him more comfortable and talking to him to keep him alert. Roger is a volunteer EMT and our victim could not have been in better hands. It is my belief that God put him right where he needed to be. The rest of us standing around were sure happy he was there! He even cleaned up the bloody towel for me and even offered to clean the street where a significant amount of blood had pooled. Way impressive. When the fire department and ambulance arrived I joked with the Window World guys and asked if they got the rest of the day off since this was emotional and had set them well behind in their pace. Mike said no. Someone else was just as excited as I was to get their new window and they were off. I had to get replacement windows since the replacement windows that were in my house from a company called Window man failed. The company is now out of business and I have no recourse for my guarantee. I went with your company based on great service I had from you, your price was lower or in line with my other estimates and the fact that your company is big, I felt you could honor the guarantee if anything ever did go wrong. I will now recommend you to anyone who will listen for your outstanding products and service. I would be honored for you to use me as a reference.

Our final windows were installed yesterday and they are perfect. We had 5 windows put in by Window World years ago and we loved them, so when we wanted to finish the remaining windows, we called on you again. There was a mix up on the vinyl color on 2 specialty windows for our porch. They came white, and every other window in the house is almond. We also had your company to do the soffit and fascia board around our porch in maple. I really did not understand the white color! I called the salesman and he was not very helpful, so I called corporate. I received a phone call the next day from the Charleston office from where we ordered from. They said the color mix-up would be straightened out. They said it would take about two weeks for the new windows to arrive. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful customer service we received. The problem was corrected and made right and we do appreciate that. Thanks again and we love our windows.

We had our windows installed 5 years ago (2005) by Window World. We were experiencing problems with the way the windows were installed. Window World sent some men out one afternoon to analyze the problems we were experiencing. Within an hour of completing their analysis, they called and said someone would be out the next morning at 9:30am to fix any problems.
The next day at 9:30am three friendly guys came out. They worked all day. We have four windows along the back of our house. They removed all of the vinyl from the back of the house where the windows are located and fixed the installation problems we were experiencing.
In addition, to ensure there were not any further problems, Window World went beyond fixing the installation concerns. They fixed some problems with our vinyl siding and added insulation under the vinyl siding to improve our home's energy efficiency.
It is nice when a company stands behind their warranty. Thank you Window World!
My husband and I had our windows replaced in January and I wanted to get back with you to tell how happy we are with our decision to use Window World. My husband and I had just bought our house in October and the windows, in addition to the bow window, were in dire need of replacement. I contacted Window World to get a quote on window replacement and that's when you came out. You were extremely nice and I was impressed with the hot/cold test you did, but I think my favorite moment was when you laid the window on the ground and actually jumped on it I thought to myself, these are the windows I want. I also appreciated your help deciding what type of window to replace our bow window with. My husband and I had not planned on making a decision so quickly but after talking with you about your product and the dates you had available for installation I realized we need to make a choice pretty quickly in order to have them installed and get the tax credit for 2009. I expressed my interest in purchasing your windows and you were kind enough to offer a deal if we signed that day and that is just what I did. The installation was done in January, during that long cold spell we had and the installation crew was wonderful.
They were extremely professional and very efficient. They were able to get the majority of the work done in one day and that included replacing our huge bow window plus fourteen standard windows. The job would have been completed in one day but the crew ran out of daylight and had to come back the next day to finish the exterior trim. Once complete, one of the installation crew members showed us all the features of the window and how to operate them. Again, I can't say enough about how nice, well-organized, and professional the installation crew was. I want to thank you for your help on such a major purchase. I felt very confident after you left that we would be taken care of and we were. As we encounter others that talk about replacing windows we don't hesitate to tell them to call Window World and how happy we are that we did.

I know you must have thought we were crazy when Pastor cam back into your office to be sure we had understood your offer correctly. I'm sure our chins must have hit the floor that afternoon. The reason we had gotten quotes was to see how far off we were from having enough money to pursue the project. We recently had a total replacement of windows in our vintage home, and would like to express our thanks for a job well done from out window consultant to our installers, to the Customer Appreciation Day.
Our window consultant, Jim Reeder, arrived promptly at his promised time, fully armed with a sample window and answers to all our questions. Now, it may not seem like much, but this is quite an accomplishment. My husband is an engineer. We had thoroughly researched replacement windows online, and he had his engineer's "grid" chart of information to fill in all the appropriate information. Jim did an outstanding job. Even when we had a question after Jim had departed, he returned promptly the next day to fully answer our additional questions. We had gotten several estimates, and knew that the price was right. We were sold!
The windows arrived much sooner than we had expected, and a date was scheduled for installation. Kevin Dukes and Josh (sorry, didn't get his last name) arrived promptly as scheduled, and managed to complete the entire window replacement effort in one day (13 windows, including 2 picture windows). They were courteous, answered additional questions, and endured a minor amount of hovering from us as they completed their work in a very professional manner. They cleaned both inside and out as they installed the windows, leaving us with a simple replacement of window treatments. One window was minus a weep hole cover, and Kevin brought that by the way the very next morning on his way to another job. That piece didn't seem to fit, so they send us another. Excellent work!
To top off an already great experience, the Customer Appreciation Day on April 24th was simply icing on the cake. From start to finish, and then some, Window World has exhibited professionalism in every area. We would recommend your service to any of our friends or family, and we know they would be satisfied. I just wanted to drop a quick note in regards to your Customer Service rep Dani Long. My wife, Sandy, and I had windows installed in our home last summer. In January, we called to get help with our tax credit information. Dani helped us out with the paperwork to make sure everything was filed correctly, and then we started discussing referrals. We had talked with a couple of our neighbors in the neighborhood about our Window World experience. This resulted in a couple of the referrals turning into sales for Window World. Dani again helped us out in receiving referral checks. She even made a point of sending us an update letter when the process was near completion. Then, when Dani returned from her Orlando vacation, she followed up with a phone call to make sure everything worked out. That type of customer service is continually getting forgotten in today's business climate. From our standpoint, this type of service is much appreciated and invaluable for continued success. My experience with the initial discussions and cost estimates for the window replacement at our home were a pleasure. You were friendly yet maintained a comfortable level of professionalism. You are familiar with the product you sell and knew where to direct me so that I could find more technical data to satisfy me as an engineer. This allowed me to do a performance evaluation of your window product versus the local competition. In the end I put together a spreadsheet comparing the National Fenestration Rating Council test results and warranty of several companies which lead me to the conclusion that your window product had similar performance and warranty coverage but at a much more reasonable cost. I have shared this spreadsheet with you, several neighbors and people at work.
The actual job of installing the new windows was done by Israel and Eddie. These two gentlemen spent two days working hard. They were professional and friendly. I appreciate their attention to detail. They carefully put down tarps to cover their work area, then they made sure to clean the area even vacuuming. They were very careful with the exterior and interior of the house. I tried to make them feel comfortable during their brief time in our home. They needed to return one week later to install the last window which needed to be reordered due to an error with the initial order. They were once again professional and friendly.
The end result is a home with windows that look like they have always been here.

We recently purchased a foreclosure, and discovered shortly after moving in that we were definitely in need of new windows. Our home inspector had referred us to Window World, and after comparing some prices and reading some reviews of Window World, we decided to go with his referral. On the day of installation, everything went very smoothly and quickly, with one exception. Evidently, the man they sent to do measurements didn't write something down correctly, so some of the windows that were sent were the wrong size. As soon as the mistake was discovered, a date was scheduled for the correctly-sized replacements to be installed. Unfortunately, on that day, one of the replacements arrived with a crack in it, and although it was able to be installed that day, we had to schedule yet one more day of re-installing, which turned out to be a very quick job. Since finally getting everything properly installed, we have been very happy with the windows- they are solid and open and close, lock, and clean as easily as we were expecting. Everything appears to be great quality, and even with the installation concerns, we were pleased with all of our interactions with the customer service reps.
We are so glad we chose Window world for our new windows and slider door.
You have an excellent product of quality materials and you also have a treasure in Mike, who installed them with Will's help. I hope you appreciate what you have in those employees. We were so impressed with the speed and expertise they demonstrated, especially when it came to that 12 foot slider door, which was quite a challenge to remove and the adjustments they had to make putting the new frame in.
They did a beautiful job and we are so grateful you sent us your best team. They were a pleasure to have around and cleaned up after them so well, too. He look forward to seeing them next week with a window they have to replace downstairs, also a cracked pane in another one downstairs. You can be very proud of Mike and will. Well Window World called me last week and set the install up for yesterday.
I believe I was impressed enough to order more before winter. The installers were nice and seemed very knowlegable, did the job well. The new windows look great, the fit and finish is nice. They open and close smoothly and evenly. In fact, the 3 window units that were placed in my 2nd floor bay look like they were always meant to be there. With the exterior capping done and the storm windows gone, the front of the house looks much better. I can't tell if they are going to preform well in the cold yet but if they seal out the cold as well as they have deadened the sound of cars on the street, I will be very pleased.
One thing I noticed is that they look like they are tinted slightly, I was told that was the low-e which is ok I'm just not used to that look yet.
I have noticed the tint is not noticeable by much but since I have a window in the room that is still original glass, its more noticeable than I think it would be to most homeowners that would see a whole house at once. I would have loved to do my entire house but can't afford that, so I'm doing it as I can afford to do so, paying cash. Might take me 2 or 2.5 years to finish it but its better than not doing it or taking a loan.
My husband and I wanted to to thank you and your installers for our new window replacements recently installed December 30, 2009. We are very much pleased with the quality, costs, and professional service we received. Our home seems to be much warmer during these extreme cold temperatures, and hopefully we will save some dollars on our electric bills in the future.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your employees for the superior job that your company performed on our home. We had 26 windows installed and siding put up as well. We had an extremely positive experience starting with our salesman, Charlie Casci, and it was carried through by the window installation crew, the siding installation crew, and finally your office staff. Everyone was cheerful, helpful, and took the time to keep us informed every step of the way. Our property was a difficult house to work on as it is three stories in the back and is structured such that is was hard maneuvering ladders and reaching some of the areas. We had some bad weather in the middle of the siding job, but the crew persevered and worked as much as they could in the elements. When the job was finished, the crews thoroughly cleaned up the worksite. The end result is a beautiful house that feels brand new!!! I wanted to make sure that I passed along how happy we were with Window World and will not hesitate to recommend your company to our friends and family. I wanted to thank your company for the excellent product that you sell. Our experience had been a very positive one. When my wife and I decided to get replacement windows, we put in writing questions to ask that were important for us to know and then set out to obtain competitive bids. Having worked in purchasing for a large company I knew that both the price and quality would be important to my decisions.
Your representative, Rob, was very knowledgeable and personable, and we like that. What set his presentation apart was that he brought samples of the windows to both see and touch. He also includes a heat lamp demonstration of the windows insulating properties, he took the time needed to answer our questions, and finally when a problem arose in his proposal, he stood by his price and did not charge us more. This made your company stand out to us as one prepared with a great product, and with integrity. (Incidentally, you also had the lowest price). None of the other companies were prepared. When your installers came, Elliot and Randy, they were quick and efficient. I helped make that the process faster.When they were finished, the windows looked very nice. We noted an immediate and tremendous difference in the comfort of our home.
When the windows were being installed, I saw there were areas where there was not enough insulation foam being applied to the gap between the window frame and the wall of the home. I had to mention this a few times to the installer on the two windows that I was able to view. I have one important suggestion and it is to completely seal any gaps and then have the homeowner inspect each window before finishing the sealing process. This would be an important selling point that would generate word of mouth advertising, and the extra cost would be nominal to you.

I want to say a big thank you for my new windows! Your team went above and beyond all my expectations in regards to the window process. Being a single female, I had to research windows and installation by myself. Other contractors/window companies had come out to give me quotes and most were more than willing to sell me unnecessary things such as full screens, triple pane, etc. When Art came out he was very fair and gave me options to keep my costs low and didn't try to up sell unnecessary things to me. When the installation date came, the expected arrival time for the crew was between 9-11. I got a hold of my mom who went to my house to take pictures of the new window installation about 11:30 that day. She called me and said thank goodness she had gotten there since the crew was almost done installing all the windows. I couldn't believe it and half expected to return home to a shoddy job. You guys certainly didn't disappoint, because when I returned home the windows were so much better than expected. I am so impressed with the process and how Art worked with me to insure I got the grids & look of the windows I wanted. You guys blew the competition away in pricing, service, and didn't cadger me into making a decision I didn't feel comfortable with. Thank you again for everything!
